I find it odd that the Orion tourist center, has not detected those same signals that the listening post had. Is Salvation just providing an elaborate distraction to lure commanders out here?
Parts of some greater than 300, some less than 300 light years.I just noticed a lot of nebulas near the last beacon. How far away are they from the beacon?
Well searching the ones under 300 lys would be a start. Nebulas seem to be liked by Fdev.Parts of some greater than 300, some less than 300 light years.
Going all in ? I don't have that kind of money, I fold.I bet 4 smear campaign plans that the survivors formed a Dredger Clan or got adopted by one.
* panics internally*Salvation is an uncontrolled AI. We will need to choose whether to use him against the Thargoids – mirroring the dilemma the Guardians faced.
Perhaps he was even built using Guardian tech by one of the missing crews, and has been biding his time and learning for the past 200 years.
In the end, we'll find out Salvation tricked us and he was the OG genocidal Guardian AI all along. He'll then reveal something that puts the Thargoid conflict in a different perspective and reveal why he murdered the Guardians.
Can't plot a route. I have the range (70ly explo ship). That's a new bug or something.Escape craft found in Trapezium Sector YU-X C1-2 by Namix![]()
It's in a heavily permit locked area. Following the Hesperus' waypoints will work - I think I used 9 & 15 last time and that was enough. This time I may try the WH engineer as a waypoint - part of the funCan't plot a route. I have the range (70ly explo ship). That's a new bug or something.
I hate this new UI.
Could be the length of the trip (1370ly).
I did 2 jumps then it was OK. The UI did struggle to find a way for a few secondsIt's in a heavily permit locked area. Following the Hesperus' waypoints will work - I think I used 9 & 15 last time and that was enough. This time I may try the WH engineer as a waypoint - part of the fun![]()
I'm surprised it wasn't in a nebula.Escape craft found in Trapezium Sector YU-X C1-2 by Namix![]()
Pretty cool to see Frontier actively in the forums and responding to players and the issues. Respecc.Hey everyone - thanks for reporting the issue with beacons 15 and 16, we've swapped the text for those now. This won't affect previous scan messages, but will be visible on future scans.
Been to the system before. You have to go a roundabout way around the nebula to get to it, because it's blocked by a region of permit locked systems. It is accessible, tho. I'm also about to jump my carrier to it from the bubble (gonna take multiple jumps, obviously), if you would like a ride and see this in the next few minutes. Can't plot a route. I think the article meant CMDRs who had taken part in the stuff going on in those systems, which was the Adamastor and the Hesperus.I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but this could be unintentional: My understanding of the Galnet article is that only commanders in the two regions mentioned (Chukchan and Perseus Dark Region KC-V c2-2) would have received the message. But since I am in Newton's Gap and also received this message, I suspect that everyone received it.
So, Horizon players are helping to look for beacons too but you want to limit the reward to PC odyssee players? Selfish toad you are.Same here. This sort of content would be what I thought Odyssey was all about. Exploring derelict and lost settlements, looking for clues and lore pieces.
I'm honestly not sure if there has ever been an event or CG that effectively kept out the parts of the community who do not own the latest expansion. Imagine the storm if some CMDR arrives at this last location only to see that he cannot land there because it's a planet with an atmosphere
I was able to plot a route just fine after 2 jump in the direction. The UI struggled a bit but that's it.I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but this could be unintentional: My understanding of the Galnet article is that only commanders in the two regions mentioned (Chukchan and Perseus Dark Region KC-V c2-2) would have received the message. Yeah, I think that's what it meant.I think the article meant CMDRs who had taken part in the stuff going on in those systems, which was the Adamastor and the Hesperus.
