Thargoid Attacks: Where, When and What you can do about it

Might turn up later - sometimes they take a while ...

Sosong turned up

"Several starports have been directly attacked with caustic enzyme weapons, and the combined death toll is already in the hundreds of thousands."

Specially since GalNet points to the contrary :-?
Attacked does not mean attacked well... they were to lazy to go after any thing vital on the station...

If the 3 new Attacked Systems are for story events only it will be very likely the thargoid levels will never go down on the report page...
So the rating on the Status page should remain for a fixed time to insure the thargoids are still there over the next weeks.
How many days of combat does it normaly take to see a change from "massive" as the other system are still there as well with lower status rating...

I think it's right to ask the question here. Are alien conflict zones only found in these systems? Didn't those three Sirius mega-ships that came to the Coal Sack create conflict zones there as well? Or don't I get it.

Hmm, the static NHSS seem to have vanished for me (Didio). Now I only see mission-related NHSS, and they don't allow mission stacking (they seem faction specific). Damn, I was enjoying that :(

Console horizons Novas system still has very limited scout missions and they stack but picking up 3 scout missions at the same station is rara...
POI are still enabled as well...
Interceptor missions are spawning more currently...

I fought in the Sosong conflict zone for a long time yesterday . There were a lot of people there. For some reason the scouts kept showing up and the zone strip on the right did not move. Is this normal?

It can happen when there's a lot of people in the instance, the network code struggles to keep the scenario in sync on all the clients and just gives up.

Thank you.
I understand correctly that if I leave the zone and then re-enter it does not help. You need ALL people to do it at once? Or what to do?

It's pretty random, sometimes a person jumping out will "unstick" the progress but there's not really a way to know who the problematic player is.

Everybody clearing the instance is just the surefire way to reset it so it's what ends up being done to keep things moving.

Looks like fdev have caught on to the Starports not being damaged for the last few months, hope they fix it properly, though from the wording hopes are not high ...

Non-Damaged Starports
The team have noted that a few starports that you may have expected to be damaged last week were miraculously unharmed. Look out for this to be rectified this week, most likely Thursday. The Thargoids won't give up that easily. Maniacal laughter ensues

AX conflict zone need interceptors killed the zones wont complete on scout kills only...
The server needs to register the interceptor kill You can kill scouts but once the interceptors turn up they lock the progress..
As stated, if a player desyncs that will not allow the interceptor status to go to killed status as the desynced player is reporting no kill...

Galnet news confirms the beating of the war drums again...
