Smuggling in a T9 WITH the Docking Computer helping. (video)

I found this by accident, whilst on my smuggling run, i accidentally left the docking computer switched on during my normal procedure of silent running and heat sinks and manually docking. (I don't like risking boosting in with a T9)
After entering the letterbox i pulled back on the throttle to find the DC taking over and landing.
I bet Sarah never thouht her DC would be used like this. lol

This now makes smuggling super easy. As long as you keep your speed up, the DC won't interfere until you drop speed once through the letterbox.

Seems to me you're still doing the "hardest part": coming inside station while in silent running, once inside station i've never been scanned or bothered so DC taking the landing part is pretty inoffensive gameplay wise.

yes but makes finding the pad easier, not tested it with boosting in yet, might do with a smaller ship.

I haven't tried the new DC, I like landing too much for that, at least I used to... but I think I know what you are referring to. Something I do for landing at outposts at times could also fit that description. ;-)

Just noticed... It actually does follow the speeding limit. LAME.

How the hell do you nerf a docking computer? It isn't a component that can be powerful... Mine still boosts when it's far enough away to do so btw.

Other than landing gear or scoop deployed or maybe not enough power to boost, I can't think of a reason why.
