I for one would like to see models done up for this function as well as a left hand stick.

It doesn't need to match the actual stick, I would just like to have the option to switch the cockpit from hotas to dual stick in the game. In VR, having the stick in game move under your right hand is phenomenal. It literally FEELS like it's your own hand. The throttle however.... well, I try not to look at the throttle. Even still, the twist doesn't have to be there to really convey the correct feeling.

Joystick Keybinds ALWAYS reset

Has anyone else had this problem? Each time I start the game, I have to remap my buttons to my joystick. Its getting a little annoying now. Even if I jump out of settings and come back, it completely resets.. Ive had a look at my Keybind directory, and there are literally THOUSANDS of them.. I deleted them all, and restarted.. Ok, cool, makes new files.. But still the same problem, and now the folder is starting to fill up again with Keybind files...

If nobody knows anything, I will submit a ticket.

Thanks guys.

Some days ago I renamed my binding to HOtasVR.binds; 360.binds in the bindings folder, since then I had no problems with the bindings resetting... choose a custom name and it is safe I think!

I have had this problem since I bought the game a couple months ago. No one else (until now) has reported this issue - looks like it's just us.

I haven't submitted a ticket.

I've just been setting the controls to the "advanced control pad" setting every time I log on.

I must have been lucky with the sticks I've bought and it definitely seems that build quality can be very hit and miss in this area. I have a years old extreme pro and also X52 and so far (touch wood) no issues, although I am a little concerned that the flight stick of the X52 seems so loose in comparison to the extreme and I doubt it will take as much yanking around as old faithful. Hope your new HOTAS has been constructed of the good stuff ;)

Can't play again until Amazon delivers the replacement. :(

This time I went for a Hotas. :D

Let's hope it lasts longer than the Mad Catz did.

Hotas, do you mean any stick+hotas combo? What brand? If you're talking about the Warthog, excellent choice. This one is virtually unbreakable, and very precise. You'll be fed up with it long before the spring starts weakening a bit. One thing though: since it's a replica from the original Warthog, there is not Z axis (rudder). You might want to assign it to one of the many hats, or go full geek power and get yourself some pedals.

I wouldn't touch a stick without z axis. It is very convenient to yaw with a simple twist of the wrist. A hat for yaw would kill me.

Yeah lack of yaw the thing that helped me resist the warthog most.. that it's probably to heavy to have it mounted the way my X52 Pro is...
